UMass coach Allen Suber is hitting Florida so hard, that Sunshine State recruits are starting to recruit him as well.
Vidal Wooduff, a 6’2, 210-pound dual-threat quarterback from Tampa, has been tweeting at Suber – and another UMass recruit – about his interest in playing for the Minutemen.
According to Rivals, Woodruff has received interest from Ball State, FIU, Iowa State, Marshall, South Florida, TCU and West Virginia. He has yet to receive a scholarship offer.
Woodruff may be cruising under the radar as he took over at quarterback three games into this past season.
Big County Preps think he raised his stock during the Ignite Showcase.
According to 247 Sports:
Woodruff is the No. 123 recruit in Florida (FL) and is the No. 32 Dual-Threat Quarterback in the nation.
Woodruff has a 247Sports rating of 74, making him a 2-star prospect.
