(2013 Recruit Joey Ivie)
It looks like UMass has a little competition for Joey Ivie, a Pasco, Fla. defensive lineman.
Chris Nee, from Rivals, Tweeted that Nee received offers from Florida International and Iowa State today. The Tampa Bay Times confirmed the offers. UMass was the first school to offer Ivie a scholarship.
According to his Rivals page, Ivie is also holding offers from Western Kentucky and Bethune Cookman.
Ivie is listed at about 6’3 and 260 pounds. According to his Sunshine Preps page, he had 53 tackles and eight sacks this past season.
