UMass has extended an offer to Skai Moore, a heavily recruited linebacker from Fort Lauderdale, according to Chris Nee from Rivals. Moore has an interesting array of offers from across the county – ranging from Southern University to Nebraska.

John Montelus, an offensive lineman from Everett with an offer from UMass, has signed with Notre Dame, according to Rivals. The Boston Herald also had a story on the signing. By our count, this is the second recruit UMass has lost to the Fighting Irish, the first was Rashad Kinlaw.

Shakir Soto, a defensive lineman with a UMass offer, gave a verbal commitment to Pitt, according to an e-mail from Steve Bennett, a friend of the blog who writes for the Citizens Voice.

Marcus Levy, a running back from Fort Pierce, Fl. with a UMass offer, took a visit to the University of South Florida on Saturday, according to Chris Nee. Levy has offers from Boise State, Bowling Green, FIU, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Western Kentucky. Mississippi State was the most recent school to offer.

Terrance Parker, a defensive pack that UMass has shown some interest in, was at UMass’ Junior Day this weekend. We haven’t heard too much about the recruits at this event, but we’ll keep an eye out.

Hunter Knighton, a defensive tackle with a UMass offer, received an offer from Buffalo, according to Brian Dohn from FOX. Knighton also has offers from Navy, Old Dominion and Purdue.

According to Justin Rowland from Rivals, Dionte Taylor, a UMass recruit, has been leaning toward Boston College, Duke and Nebraska.
