Jermaine Carter, a linebacker from the D.C. area, has picked up an offer from UMass, according to Rivals. According to Rivals, UMass is showing interest in Cory Jasudowich, a linebacker from Connecticut. Jasudowich has offers from Boston College and UConn, according to 247 Sports. Jasudowich (6’2, 240 pounds) already has college linebacker size, and he looks like a tough kid in his highlight video.

UMass continues to make itself known down in Tampa. According to both Rivals and 247 Sports, the Minutemen have shown interest in Wesley Bullock, a running back from Tampa Plant High School. Bullock already has offers from Western Kentucky, Ball State and Bowling Green. Bullock is the second player from Plant that UMass has gone after, the first being Mitchell Wright. Bullock is a smaller back at 5’7 and 153 pounds, but if there’s one thing UMass fans have learned recently, it’s that size is overrated.

The Minutemen are also opening a recruiting pipeline down at the Hun School in New Jersey. According to Rivals, UMass has shown interest in Abdul-Malik Majeed, a 5’10 180 pound cornerback who has seen interest from a few top-shelf programs. Hunter Knighton, a defensive lineman we’ve talked about before, is teammates with Majeed at the Hun School.
