A number of UMass recruits have been tweeting about other schools either showing interest or making offers.
First, Vidal Woodruff, a dual-threat quarterback we have mentioned here before, tweeted that he is visiting Florida International this weekend for Junior Day. He added that FIU is his “top school.” As far as we know, no one has offered Woodruff yet.

Woodruff won’t be the only UMass recruit at FIU. Shug Oyegunle, another target, also tweeted that he will be there.

Devonte Hughes, a linebacker from Indiana, mentioned that he enjoyed his visits to UMass, Boston College and Princeton. Hughes mentioned his visit to UMass earlier this week. We are not sure whether any offers were made this past week.

Milan Collins, an athlete from Maryland that UMass has made an offer to, just picked up another offer from Hawaii. Collins has been tweeting throughout the recruiting process and has also mentioned that visits are planned for Penn State, West Virginia and Rutgers.
According to Scout, Collins has offers from: UMass, Syracuse, West Virginia, Buffalo, Hawaii, and East Carolina.

Last but not least, Steven Casali, a Long Island running back that UMass has extended an offer to, tweeted that he was invited to Temple’s Junior Day.
Casali is honestly one of my favorite recruits because he runs like Mike Alstott and may serve that power back role in college. I also recognize that Casali wasn’t even in high school when Alstott was running people over for the Bucs, and that makes me feel old.
I’m glad UMass found this kid early.
