UMass has offered to a New Jersey athlete with a respectable array of Northeast offers.
According to Matt Hladik, a sports reporter from the Tri-State area, the Minutemen are going after T.J. Taylor, a safety/wide receiver from Monmouth Junction, N.J.
Hladik broke the news on Twitter:

Taylor, a two-star athlete, has offers from Pitt, Temple, Rutgers and Syracuse, according to Scout. Rivals has a more substantial list with a few FCS schools in the mix. According to message board scuttlebutt, it sounds like Notre Dame is also showing some interest.

Bobby Mitchell, a wide receiver from St. Augustine, has picked up a UMass offer, according to Rivals.
Mitchell also mentioned the offer on Twitter and mentioned that Western Kentucky, Arkansas State and Presbyterian College have also sent offers his way.
Side Note: Presbyterian’s mascot is the Blue Hose, which is just odd.
According to hudl, Mitchell runs a sub 4.6 40 yard dash. Check out his highlights here.
