(2013 Recruit Caleb Alves/Florida Today)
UMass has extended an offer to Caleb Alves, an athlete from Melbourne, Fl., according to Rivals.
During a recent interview with CanesInsider.com, Alves mentioned that UMass and other schools are looking at him as either a wide receiver or safety.
I have eight or nine offers so far. The University of Memphis, FIU, South Alabama, Bethune, UMASS and Bowling Green are the ones I can name off of the top of my head. They offered me at athlete. They like me at safety and receiver.
It sounds like Alves’ recruiting is about to heat up with teams like Miami, LSU and Florida State showing interest.
