Today is the first day of Fall football camp for the University of Massachusetts. Mass Live’s Harry Plumer is at McGuirk covering the first day of practice and is giving a play-by-play on Twitter.
Sounds like Coach Molnar is letting the guys have a little fun before getting to work:
Post stretching, Molnar has offense vs. defense in tug of war. Offense wins 3-1. And now I have to leave. Allowed back in at 11.

Blog Note: I will be driving to Colorado during the next few days and may not have internet access. I will try to keep up with things while I’m on the road, but if there is a lull, it’s not because I quit – it’s due to the lack of Wi-Fi in Kansas cornfields.
Watch out for that Sharpe kid from Jersey, he wears #1 and he’s a true freshman. This kid is special. They call him SHOWTIME, and it’s a well deserved nickname, and I’m sure he will live up to it!!!!!!
