New Names Starting to Surface

(Elijah Barrows will likely be a walk-on for the Minutemen)

It appears that players not listed in the initial 2013 recruiting class are starting to show up on campus. Typically, this means that the athletes are either walk-ons or preferred walk ons.

Here are a two new names:

Joey Colton: I mentioned this guy awhile back on the UMassHoops message board. Colton went to Xaverian High School where he was an All-State cornerback. ESPN Boston had him on their All-State Team as well. Colton spent a postgraduate year at Avon Old Farms. At one point, prior to Avon, Colton was drawing interest from Duke. Elijah Barrows: Barrows is a quarterback/wide receiver/cornerback from Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Wilbraham, MA. He was the captain of his high school team. Barrows was initially going to Wagner College down on Staten Island. There isn’t a lot about Barrows out there right now, but here is his NCSA page. Chech out his highlights here.
