(Julian Talley and Victor Cruz both made catches last night for the Giants/NFL.com)
Julian Talley made his first two NFL catches last night in the Giants’ 32-31 preseason loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Talley was targeted twice during the game, and made both catches. He arguably had a better game than fellow former Minuteman Victor Cruz, who had one catch on three targets.
The 6’1, 192-pound receiver will be battling for a roster spot and has some pretty stiff competition. ESPN has projected that Domenik Hixon, Rueben Randle, Ramses Barden and Jerrel Jernigan will be backups, while Talley, David Douglas and Brandon Collins won’t make the cut.

What does Albert Breer really mean when he says the ad is ghetto? Is he an elitist or racist? Seems out of line or at best inappropriate for a journalist.
I’m not really sure to be honest. It seems odd for any Ohio State fan to poke fun at a MAC school that has no rivalry with the Buckeyes at all.
Barden is in a put-up or be-gone training camp this summer with the Giants. If Talley can make a name for himself this camp and perhaps show something on special teams a position is there to take.
