(2013 Recruit Hassan Graham/ESPN)
Hassan Graham, teammate of UMass decommit Sha’ki Holines, has reportedly piqued the interest of both UMass and UConn.
Graham, a former linebacker who now plays safety for Springfield Commerce, is being “heavily recruited” by the Minutemen and has already been offered a preferred walk-on spot from the Huskies, according to a Republican article printed last week.
Graham and Holines lead the way for a resurgence of high school football talent in Western Massachusetts. Holines originally committed to UMass, but later decided to give a verbal commitment to UConn.
According to Rivals, Graham is a two-star recruit and is also drawing interest from Boston College, Fordham and Villanova.

Why are we wasting time on these two?
Holines is going to be a star at the next level. No waste of time with him. Many schools are missing out due to him coming out of western mass.
Seems like were just a “safety” school for him. In fact, I think I read that he
brought Holiness with him on a recruiting visit to UConn that eventually led to
him decommiting from us.
