ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Michigan Wolverines did exactly what they were supposed to – they manhandled a lesser opponent at home.
Michigan defeated UMass 63-13 in front of more than 110,000 fans.
While quotes and statistics typically tell the story, today I figured that “Michigan” could speak for itself. By “Michigan,” I mean the sights, sounds, pageantry and excitement that surround the Wolverines. Below are some photos and videos that I took at the game.
I would like to thank the Michigan athletic department for giving me both a press pass and sideline pass.

Much like at UMass, the Michigan marching band goes through campus en route to the stadium on game day. The band shows up right outside the stadium about half and hour before the game.
The band, press and teams enter the stadium via this hallway. On the other side is 110,000 screaming fans.
Once the band enters the field, it’s a sight to behold.
Michigan gets hyped up before charging the field.
UMass does the same.
Mike Cox was a game captain and put together an impressive performance.
Thanks again to the University of Michigan. More about Michigan tomorrow.
