Spencer Schnell, a wide receiver out of Elkhart, IN, will be in attendance for the Bowling Green game on Oct. 20.
In a twist of fate, he will visit Bowling Green this weekend for the Falcons’ game against Miami (OH).
The news was initially reported by Steve Wiltfong from 247 Sports:
I spoke to Schnell briefly about the visit, and he indicated that Jeff Burris, UMass’ cornerbacks coach, has been recruiting him. It makes sense that Burris is recruiting the Rust Belt. He was an All-American at Notre Dame and coached high school ball at Fishers HIgh School in Fischers, IN – a suburb of Indianapolis.
Schnell is the second Indiana receiver to reportedly draw interest from UMass. The Minutemen checked out Anthony Warrum last week.
Schnell will join Arthur Williams, a Florida safety, at the Bowling Green game.

NOTE: I’m hearing that UMass has extended an offer to Adrian Robinson, a defensive end from Charlotte, N.C. Check out his 247 Sports page. I will keep an eye on this.
