  1. Knuckles says:

As a sesaon ticket holder ill be there but i thought they may have tried a night game specifically for the Vandy game, unless that’s just not in the cards as per their arrangement with Gillette?

    1. Bill says:

Revs have a night game at Gillette on 9/21 so Vandy has to be a noon game because of that.

  2. ZooMaster says:

If we could win some televised games that would be so huge for our program. Im praying for an one Upset, that all we need or a competitive game against Wisconsin, Kansas State, or Vanderbilt (Like Towson accomplished last year against LSU).

    1. SJGMoney says:

I’m on record as saying we give KState a scare. A big scare. A scare like a 4th quarter lead.

  3. Knuckles says:

Having the two biggest draws kicking off at noon? that’ll dip into the casual fan stopping in…

    1. Bob says:

UMASS needs more hard core fans. The casual fan comes when things are going good. Get out to the games and bring some friends(casual fans).

    2. Umike says:

What college football games do you watch? 12 kickoffs are basically the norm.

    3. Andy says:

I personally don’t mind noon starts with “brunch” tailgating, but don’t expect the student fan buses to be in demand having to leave Amherst at 8am.

      1. SJGMoney says:

They won’t and don’t come anyway. They didn’t at McGuirk at won’t at Gillete. Next year they will come to one Thursday night MAC game, but the students are not our target market.

        1. SJGMoney says:

I left off “Thursday night MAC game at McGuirk..”

    4. SJGMoney says:

for the casual fan Noon works better. Go to the game, bring the kids, still home in time to take wife out for Sturday night dinner. Unless of course they come by the SJG$ tailgate and end up playing corn-hole until 9:30 pm while dodging the street sweeper!!!

  4. Umike says:

Can’t be mad at 5 televised games.
