Former UMass quarterback Kellen Pagel has joined the baseball team. Pagel’s name has been added to the baseball roster. According to Pagel’s profile, he will play outfield for the Minutemen. The news comes nearly a month after UMass coach Charley Molnar told the Daily Hampshire Gazette’s Matt Vautour that Pagel was “likely done” with football. Pagel missed the entire 2012 season with post-concussion symptoms. During the 2011 season, Pagel threw for 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns for the Minutemen. Follow Bob on twitter: @BobMcGovernJr
