Nine UMass seniors participated in drills on Monday at the team’s pro day event at The Dana Farber Field House next to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Fourteen NFL scouts were in attendance to get an up-close look at Michael Cox, Perry McIntyre, Stephane Milhim, Quinton Sales, Nick Speller, Darren Thellen, Deion Walker, Alan Williams, and Hafis Williams. Kellen Pagel Joins Baseball Team

Former UMass quarterback Kellen Pagel has joined the baseball team. Pagel’s name has been added to the baseball roster. According to Pagel’s profile, he will play outfield for the Minutemen. The news comes nearly a month after UMass coach Charley Molnar told the Daily Hampshire Gazette’s Matt Vautour that Pagel was “likely done” with football. Pagel missed the entire 2012 season with post-concussion symptoms. During the 2011 season, Pagel threw for 1,725 yards and nine touchdowns for the Minutemen.
