The UMass football team has added to its growing list of Bay State walk-ons. ESPNBoston’s Brendan Hall reported that running back Shadrach Abrokwah of St. John’s of Shrewsbury, and athlete Mike Rapoza of New Bedford High School have committed to UMass as walk-ons for the 2013 season. Abrokwah had 1,540 yards and 22 touchdowns last year. The 5’8, 200-pound athlete also played middle linebacker for the Pioneers. Check out his hudl highlights here.
