UMass Recruit: Jarry Williams

Jarry Williams, a 2014 wide receiver from the Jacksonville area, has picked up a verbal offer from UMass, according to a source with knowledge of his recruitment. Williams, a 6’4, 184-pound athlete, is being recruited by UMass wide receivers coach Allen Suber. Williams told the Maroon Musket that he and Suber have a good relationship. “I love coach Suber. He’s a great coach that I would love to play for for many years. We get along great,” he said. UMass Recruiting: News and Notes

Chris Carter, a 2014 defensive end from New Jersey, tweeted that he picked up an offer from UMass. According to Rivals, UMass is Carter’s first FBS offer. 247 Sports has a number of bigger programs showing interest, including Georgia, Michigan State and UConn.  Cordell Hudson, a 2014 cornerback with offers from all over, tweeted that UMass extended an offer. The 5’11, 160-pound recruit has verbal offers from Air Force, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Boston College and others, according to 247 Sports. Rivals has more of the same. UMass Recruiting: News and Notes

Felix Manus-Schell, a 2014 cornerback from Cathedral Prep in Erie, PA, tweeted that the Minutemen offered. The 5’11, 175-pound prospect also has offers from Toledo, Old Dominion and Bowling Green, according to 247 Sports. Rivals has more of the same. When he chatted with ESPN, Manus-Schell said that Penn State was an early favorite – if they were to offer. Check out his hudl highlights here.
