UMass’ assault on the Tampa Bay area continues. Chris Nee from Rivals tweeted that UMass has shown interest in Andre Simpson, a running back from Leto High School. Simpson’s Rivals page indicates that Florida International, Purdue, USF, NC State and Wisconsin are also involved. According to his MaxPreps page, Simpson rushed for nearly 800 yards for a pretty poor (0-10) team in the area.
