I guess UMass coach Charley Molnar saved his best MAC Teleconference interview for last. Molnar discussed the Buffalo game, this Friday’s matchup against Central Michigan, injuries and the season in general. When asked about UMass’ transition from FCS to FBS, Molnar indicated that certain players may have not fully understood how difficult the move would be. Molnar Speaks at Weekly MAC Teleconference

UMass coach Charley Molnar spoke about the win over Akron and this week’s game against Buffalo during the MAC Teleconference. He reasserted that the victory was a good “first step” for the Minutemen. When discussing the Bulls, Molnar indicated that the game would have to be won in the trenches – the offensive tackles need to get good blocks on the defensive ends, and the defensive line needs to slow down Buffalo’s potent running attack.
