Jackson Porter, an athlete from Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City, Maryland, has committed to UMass, according to Matt Alkire on twitter. Maryland CB Jackson Porter has committed to #UMASS as well. — Matt Alkire (@MattAlkire) December 2, 2012 Porter played runningback and cornerback as a senior at Mt. Hebron this season. UMass Commits: Custis, Porter

UMass has picked up verbal commitments from two more 2013 recruits. Matt Alkire is reporting that Jackson Porter, a cornerback from Ellicott City, Md., and Sharif Custis, a tight end from Philadelphia, have decided to play for the Minutemen. According to Rivals, Porter also had an offer from Elon and was seeing interest from Penn State and Rutgers. There is less out there about Custis, but he does have an ESPN page.
